Go Ethereum (Geth) released v1.16.4, enabling the Osaka (Fusaka) fork and two blob-parameter only (BPO) forks on testnets (Holesky, Sepolia, Hoodi). The update increases blob capacity on these networks and sets the default block gas limit to 60M gas, while introducing an experimental zkVM guest program and various performance and security fixes.
